The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party
From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences growing in power within the urban setting.
Warning: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.
The Soldiers Table Unveiled
Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.
This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).
Dividing the Cast
Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.
Characteristics of the Soldiers Table
Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.
Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
First, the party knows exactly where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.
An old friend of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.
The traitor then settled his obligations and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd close behind.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
- Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a hostile place.
- The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their position as important members in the powerful family could assist the group access areas they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:
- The rogue and The character are known criminals.
- Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- Teor is wanted dead by the family.
This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.
Upcoming Developments
Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Questers and Planners groups.
Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
